Pete Dowe studied Eric Morris acting technique with Julie Eckersley and Justin Hosking at Red Stitch Theatre Company.

This “emotional technique” has informed Dowe’s writing and performance.

In over 100 live poetry gigs Dowe has honed his performance and vocal skills.

He published his first collection of poetry Intimacy Is Risk Management in 2004 and will Launch his second Book When The Girl Says Yes, on 17.9.07 at the Railway Hotel,  Brunswick, Melbourne.

Pete also published a live poetry CD called Pete Dowe Live @ Passionate Tongues
