Daniela Cristea

Born in Bucharest, Romania and raised in Adelaide, Daniela has been working actively in the industry for a number of years. She started modelling at the age of 15 and soon found herself auditioning for commercials and small roles. After gaining a number of commercials she enrolled for acting classes in Adelaide and has since trained in different styles such as Stanislavski and Eric Morris.  

In 2007 Daniela relocated to Melbourne where she has been cast in a number of productions including the sci-fi series Welcome to the Cosmos and the Tropfest film Soap Opera. She has also had lead and supporting roles in numerous short film productions.

Daniela has completed workshops with the likes of Tom McSweeney and Faith Martin and is currently training with John Orcsik at the Australian Film & Television Academy.

Other than acting, Daniela has a great passion for travel and lists Morroco, Spain, Hungary and Thailand as some of her favourite destinations. Highlights from her travels include navigating the grand medina of Marrakech and visiting the Transylvanian mountains.
